This poem is the story of us,It's the story of you and I.
And because of our temple marriage,
It will continue even after we die.

Our lives were forever changed,
As you introduced yourself to me.
We were in college at the time,
We soon knew it was meant to be.

We had many memorable dates,
I had the thought that "this could last."
We each had previous relationships,
But both of us soon forgot the past.

We threw pennies in the well,
Danced and had our first kiss.

It is you I know I would miss.

As we stood there embracing the moment,
Looking up at all the stars,
Our love for each other was too great,
To fill any number of jars.

As time went on our love grew,
Something we thought could not be done.
Each day we spent together,
Our love increased one whole ton.

We spent many days together,
And so very few apart.
As time went on I realized,
You had secretly unlocked my heart.
--
You knew you wanted marriage,
Even after dating six months.
It took me a little longer,
I was the world's biggest dunce.

You calmly stood by my side,
And patiently waited for me.
It took me over two years,
To open my eyes and see.
--
You are the only one for me,
No one else in this world can compare.
I hope you still think I'm good looking,
Even after I've lost all my hair.
--
We got married for eternity,
And started this journey together.
When things get tough and hard,
It is the storm we must weather.

For when we have our children,
God's blessings they will be.
Our family unit forever,
You mean the world to me!
